  • Description: This bass has led a really rough life. The body has been use and abused. S8 serial number. Everything’s original except the pickguard and strap buttons.There have been many stickers on the bass. They’ve been removed, but have left imprints. There’s a name on the back of the body in paint. There are scratches, a couple of gouges, there’s a residue of what looks to be glue on several spots, and there’s reaction in the finish to the case fur. The neck is good, but there are some string grooves in the fingerboard. So, this one won’t win any beauty contests, but it’s solid as a rock. Don’t expect a featherweight, this one’s heavy. No cracks anywhere, and it plays and sounds as a P-Bass should. Original 1980 pots coded 137 80 35. Original gray back pickups (dates covered by foam pads)
