Description

One of the very first Fender Fretless basses ever! Nice and very original except for a couple small things. The thumb rest was moved and has a metal piece attached for some reason. Also, the bass has a ground wire coming through the pickguard under the pickup cover. The bass is all original other than these two things. It plays great and has old black flatwounds on it. Pots date to early 1970, but the neck dates to 1969. Finish is original with some checking. Overall it's in very nice condition with original hardshell case and rare hang tag. At least I've never seen this particular tag. Very rare.
