Description

This 1970s Precision bass features a sunburst finish on an alder body and a factory fretless maple neck. It has a serial number of S757632 and dates to 1977. The staggered Precision pickup sounds bright and punchy with a healthy mid-range for cutting through the mix. The fretless neck is thin and very comfortable. It measures 1 5/8th” at the nut with a rosewood fretboard. The parts look to be age-appropriate; nothing appears to have been changed. It even has the chrome bridge cover and black plastic thumb rest. It is very light for a ‘70s Fender, coming in at roughly 8 lbs 6 ounces. The sunburst finish is in near-impeccable shape with only a small ding near the bottom strap button and some very light playwear and belt-rash. The neck is glossy and smooth with a very fast feel to it. Overall this is one of the cleanest looking ‘70s Precisions we’ve seen here at the shop. Whether you are searching for a comfortable, versatile fretless bass or just want a cool vintage piece to add to your collection, don’t sleep on this baby! Includes original hard shell case.
