This Fender Princeton Limited Edition Two-Tone FSR in ‘Surf-Tone Tangerine’ and ‘Hot White’ aka Creamsicle serial number CR-348465 is in excellent condition as the photos show. These Fender Special Run amps produced in limited numbers offer some unique color schemes and a variety of speaker options.
Three 12AX7s one 12AT7 and a 5AR4 rectifier, plus two 6V6 Groove Tubes provide 15 watts to a 10” Jensen P-10R speaker. The ’65 Princeton Reverb reissue delivers the great tone and dynamics of the original and is easily versatile enough to go from the recording studio to the small gig. It has the vintage vibe that Fender die-hards know and love, naturally dynamic clean and overdriven tones, and unmistakable long-spring Fender reverb and tube vibrato. The Princeton Reverb was Eric Clapton’s go to amp on the Layla sessions, a very memorable sound.
This Fender Special Run Princeton is great looking in its two tone color scheme, a nice Limited Edition emblem plate on the back side and a jewel pilot light cover are really nice touches as is
the chrome footswitch and factory slip cover.
