Description

This 1954 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst is an incredible instrument and a fantastic example of the first production year of Stratocasters! It was undoubtedly used but well taken care of, with fretboard wear and light wear throughout the body. The resonance of this particular piece is ridiculous. Amped up, these three well-balanced pickups can cover a wide range of tones. The knobs and switch tip were changed at some point and now feature the correct style “short skirt” and “football” switch tip to maintain the 1954 look. Aside from replaced knobs and switch tip, all other components, including the frets, are original. At some point, polka dots were hand painted on the pickguard and front of the headstock. These have since been removed, and their absence is only visible under blacklight.

Overall Condition: 9, fretboard play wear, light body wear
