This Fender Stratocaster was made in the USA in July of 1959. This was one of the first Stratocasters that had a rosewood fretboard. It also came from the factory with a rare single ply 11 hole pickguard. Unfortunately the original pickguard was modified (and the pickguard on the guitar is a high quality repro. The original pciguard is included in the case. The knobs and pickup covers are also replacement parts. Aside from the guard, knobs, and covers, everything else is original. The original pickups sound great. The pots date to the 20th week of 1959. The body was never routed or modified. The guitar weighs 7 pounds and 14 ounces. The neck plays great and has a larger profile neck than most from this period. The guitar comes with the original case in the pictures.
