1964 Fender Stratocaster Candy Apple Red

Candy Apple Red is a great color for Stratocasters but they tend to wear badly. They chip around the edges and tend to be particularly susceptible to buckle rash. This one is better than 95% of the ones I've seen. It's an L plate '64 with a transition logo. It is all original. The neck is mega flamed and sets off the gorgeous color beautifully. The neck has never been off and I'm not real inclined to take it off but I will guarantee that everything is in order. I'm also not too keen on pulling the guard but again-I guarantee it's straight. There are a number of small chips around the edges which is typical of candy apple red Fenders. Trem arm is in the case. The ashtray bridge cover is missing. The case is a later 60's Fender case (should be a no logo)-this one has a logo. More photos coming.
