Description

Check out this incredible 1964 Fender Stratocaster in Charcoal Frost Metallic with a matching headstock, made specifically for the NAMM show! This guitar was made alongside another matching headstock example finished in Lake Placid Blue, as seen in our other listing. Comparing the two, we can see the main difference on display with this pair is the headstock decal, as the Lake Placid features the spaghetti logo while this piece features the transition logo. This extremely rare finish is still in great shape, with some checking and patina to the headstock. There is light wear throughout this guitar, with a very slight yellowing to the clear. It’s a phenomenal player that sounds fantastic thanks to its original single coil pickups. This piece is fully original and still retains its original black hardshell case with orange lining.

Overall Condition: 8, weather checking and patina to the headstock, light playwear throughout the body
