  • Description: Very cool late 1964 early 65 pre cbs Fender® Stratocaster®. Shows some wear and has been played for good reason. Very comfortable mid size and easy playing neck. Nice low action. All the classic strat sounds you expect from the original black bottom pickups. I'll include a recent Gruhn appraisal. Tone pots date to 1963. Changes: Pickguard, 1 volume pot. Frets and nut, not sure. 3 way switch changed to 5 way. All else original including finish. May have had a clear coat at some point to protect exposed wood at worn spots.
