  • Description: For your guitar playing pleasure, we have a wonderful and beautiful 1965 Fender® Stratocaster® in a sunburst finish. This 7 lb 14 oz beauty is all original and ships with is original hard shell case as well. This stunner has a beautifully shaped straight neck, rosewood fingerboard, with its original frets. There is some wear but this 46 year old still has plenty of play time left. She plays like butter and has a neck date which reads, 2 Aug65B. The all original sunburst finish is in great shape. The color is vibrant. There are some dings on the bottom edge of the guitar and on the back. Overall though, she is in mighty fine shape. The electronics are untouched. The three cats scratching on glass gray bobbin pickups are dated 9-27-65. The pickups measure, 6.28 k ohms for the neck pickup, 5.94 k ohms for the middle pickup, and 5.26 k ohms for the bridge pickup, all measured at the output jack. The potentiometer codes all read the 32nd week of 1965. As always, this classic small headstock beauty will be professionally packed with care.
