  • Description: The 1970 Fender® Stratocaster® in sunburst has a sn# 2776XX. This large headstock beauty comes to us from its original owner. It has only been played a bit and has some slight buckle rash on the back. The sunburst finish is slightly faded, but they happen to look cool that way (see photos). The guitar ships in its original black Tolex case. The green stamped neck date has faded completely. The potentiometer codes are all 14th week of 1970. The pickups measure 5.56 k ohms on the neck, 5.45 k ohms on the middle, and 5.61 k ohms on the bridge, all measured at the output jack. All electronics work as was intended and this guitar truly has that great Hendrix sound. The guitar weighs in at 8 lbs 0.4 oz. It will ship with its tremolo cavity cover as well as its ashtray (off for photos). This guitar has a great playing neck which still retains its original frets. The truss rod works as was intended. The guitar’s finish and its parts are 100% original.
