Description: A nice smooth player with moderate wear all around, this thick-neck Strat® is a nice piece falling right on the cusp of Fender’s late-‘60s features. A couple notes of Strat® decal minutae—this Strat® has one patent number on the headstock decal, marking it from late 1970, as Fender® switched from two numbers to one in the middle of the year. However, the decal does say, “with synchronized tremolo,” a note that was eliminated in 1970. So it may be from around the middle of the year, perhaps.
