  • Description: This '75 Stratocaster® has great tone and a ton of MOJO! Hardtail Strats have a different sound, not quite as airy as a trem version that is blocked off. The hardtail sounds a little more aggressive and somewhat brighter. Think Robert Cray and Walter Trout! Both are well known for playing Hardtail Strats. Cray's got the single coil sting, but it's more than just the quack, its his attitude! Now, let's talk TROUT! With a reputation for rippin' licks alongside the greatest names in blues including John Lee Hooker, Big Mama Thornton and Canned Heat, Walter Trout kicks butt on a Hardtail Strat! Most players prefer a Hardtail Strat® because they are a little easier to tune and keep in tune and most players don't use the tremolo anyway. This guitar is also much lighter than the trem version weighing 6 lbs 14.5 oz. This guitar has the high end fidelity to really scream, bite, soar and articulate. She plays like butter with incredible sustain, but not at the expense of clarity. The action is light and intonation is perfect. The Hardtail provides increased resonance, sustain and volume.... a meatier sound with more bass. This guitar is seasoned to perfection with tone to die for, resonate and sweet with great harmonics and overtones, powerful and punchy. This guitar is ALL ORIGINAL AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION SHOWING ONLY GOOD HONEST PLAYWEAR AND LOVING CARE. The black finish has some of the most beautiful spider web checking in it that I have ever seen! It's intricate pattern tells a story of good music and maybe a few smokey bar gigs. The frets are also original and also in great shape with plenty of life left in them. The guitar still has the original 3 way switch and original 3 single coil Gray Bottom pickups with flush poles and MONSTER TONE! The picks are also date stamped 75. The neck is dated 75. The pot codes read 1377531 and the serial number is 665096. Everything checks out even the hardshell case! This guitar is collectors grade as well as a players dream!
