Description

Here's a 1983 Fender Strat '57 Reissue in 2-Tone Sunburst. Very clean, and very early example, made in the Fullerton Factory. Pots date to '82, while the neck date is January of '83. No breaks, cracks, or issues. Alder body, maple neck, with a thin nitro finish! Everything on the guitar is original, except for the pickups. The bridge is a DiMarzio DP-116, while the neck & middle are DiMarzio DP-117's. Sounds amazing!!! The neck & middle pickups (DP-117's) are EQed & Hum-Free, and slightly warmer that your typical Strat tone (no ice pick tones). They still sound like a vintage Strat, and are glassy & twangy. The DP-116 in the bridge is a perfect marriage, as it has a high output reading (16.16k), and works great with gain. Outstanding pickups for the guitar. The neck feels fantastic, and plays like an absolute dream! Action is low, and the frets are in good shape. The neck has a soft V profile, with rolled fretboard edges....super smooth. The guitar currently has a 5-way switch, while the original 3-way is included. Original tags & tweed case also included!!

Weight- 7lbs 9oz
Nut Width- 1.673"
