Year: 1983
Manufacturer: Fender®
Model: Stratocaster® Standard Version 2
Case: Original Hard
Color: 3-Tone Burst
Condition: Excellent
Description: 1983 Fender® Stratocaster® Standard Version 2 is in excellent condition and perfect playing order. Constructed with an 4-piece Alder body and finished in the classic 3-tone burst. The body is very clean for being 28 years old. There is no buckle rash to be found, though there is a small ding in the bass side horn about a half inch from the edge of the body. As well as very light dings in the treble side lower bout, but the top of the guitar is immaculate. Bolt-on Maple neck with 21 frets. The neck has a slim, very subtle V profile and a 12" fingerboard radius. The frets are in great condition with minor playing wear and still have plenty of meat on them. With the exception of the Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder in the bridge, this guitar is 100% original. Unfortunately, it came to us missing the original snap-in tremolo arm. However, it does comes with the original Fender® tweed hard shell case. Weighing in on our digital scale at 7 lbs 14 ounces. Has a nut width of 1 11/16" that tapers out to 2 1/32" at the 12th fret.
