Super clean example of a 1968 Fender Telecaster serial number 251336 with a neck date stamp of 3 MAR 68 B. Rare rosewood board model in beautiful condition, typical yet attractive blonde over ash finish with absolutely no issues, no modifications or repairs. Perfectly straight neck with a working truss rod, nice light featherweight weighing in at only 7 pounds 2 ounces. At this particular time Fender was using nitrocellulose lacquer on the necks and a light (in this case not aways) polyurethane finish on the bodies therefore retaining the feel and weight of an early Fender instrument. The neck is comfortable and typical of this era in that it's relatively uniform in size as ones hand moves up the fingerboard, early examples of this same guitar taper more. 100% in all respects a near perfect instrument to collect or enjoy playing, we highly recommend this lovely guitar, newer Fender SKB type hard shell case included.
