1963 Fender Custom Telecaster Sunburst

The Telecaster was designed to be a very basic guitar. No fancy body contours like a Stratocaster, no fancy dual circuits like a Jazzmaster or Jaguar, no bindings on the body or neck. Enter the Telecaster Custom. The forst thing you notice is that it isn't blonde, has a rosewood fingerboard and has a bound body. It's still every inch a Telecaster, it's just a little fancier. Call it a Telecaster in its Sunday best. This Tele is out of my personal collection. The 63 neck is, in my opinion, the best profile Fender ever made (OK, it's tied with the 57 V neck). This Tele Custom has been refinished by RS Guitarworks. The work is excellent. The rest of the guitar is original except for the ashtray/bridge cover. That came off of a 67. Original white case.
