I sent my son to his first serious guitar lesson the other day with this Fender TL-71. He's been learning on a blue floral Tele reissue that I bought back in 2011.
I had forgotten the blue floral at home that morning when we left for school and work. I spent about 10 minutes setting it up - it just fell right in line.
As I understand it, Fender isn't making guitars in this price range with ash bodies. This one was built before that change, and it is light as well - just 7 pounds, 4.4 ounces.
The guitar is all original with the exception of the Seymour Duncan pickup in the bridge position. Frets show little prior use. The neck is straight and the truss rod has room for future adjustment.
Comes with a gig bag.
Shipping policy:
Three day UPS air shipments will be automatic for buyers including these states and those to the east of them: Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas.
