1958 Fender Tweed Deluxe 5E3 Tweed

We've been bringing the Tweed, month after month. This one is a really nice example - a 1958 that is 100% stock. The original handle is included, and the only "change" is a repro handle for daily use.
It is normally my practice to update at least the filter caps on an amp like this, but the amp is working well and nothing has been changed so I'm just going to keep it that way. It was run up on a variac prior to testing, and everything is working great.
The amp came from the once deep stash of Larry Cragg, Bay Area guitar tech for everyone in the San Francisco area over the last fistful of decades, including Bob Weir, Neil Young, etc. Larry ran an instrument and amp rental business for years. The amps he had were mostly found while touring around the country with Neil Young, and many were rented to musicians who used them in the studio. This particular amp doesn't have any specific uses that Larry could point to.
Its a really nice piece. There is a little pitting around one of the knobs, but other than that is is ridiculously clean.
A true investment piece.
