  • Description: As most fans of Fender® Twin's are aware, Twin's have a long evolutionary path, some versions boast attributes that other versions may not have. The circuitry changes through out the years certainly add to the variety of tone produced by these much sought after amps. This 1979 powerhouse is in original unmodified condition and loaded with the very desirable JBL D120F (orange back) speakers. The Ultra Linear power transformer brings this version of the Twin to its all time high output of 135 watts. A Push/Pull master volume gives an extra boost when needed. Loud, clean, with plenty of headroom, great spring reverb and classic Fender® amp tone are all right here. This amp is in very good condition. It has the original footswitch and the original tilt-back legs. This amp presents the correct amount of "Patina" or cosmetic wear, a few minor scuffs, some surface corrosion on the "Brightwork". This amp didn't sit in a corner somewhere with a cover over it. This twin exudes the "I'm a good solid dependable companion that you can gig with and I won't let you down" vibe.
