  • Description: Fender® Custom Shop 1960 Stratocaster® Relic: Time Capsule series NOS. This Guitar has the most awesome quilted neck one can find, Neck stamp is year 2000 and stamped Relic® on heel as well. This Guitar is in Great shape for an 11 year old guitar and shows only minor wear at best. Fiesta Red Finish, Cool as can be and thats the buzz on this Honey! No Fretware or divit on frets, everything works as it should, Nice and great looking Rosewood board, Nice size neck, bigger than the vintage 62 RI. Great profile and easy to bend on without choking off. Custom shop pickups tagged with reverse wound middle pickup, so the guitar becomes hum cancelling in the 2 an 4 positions on the 5 way switch,Guitar body is stamped Relic® in the neck pickup caviety. Guitar comes complete with Custom shop Tweed case with the richer and thicker deep red lining, some of the case candy is there, including the strap which was never used, No C.O.A. When I purchased the guitar the back cover was missing and I installed a Fender® 3 ply, the holes match up perfectly, so you can always put on a single ply if desired.
