  • Description: Here is a real sweetie - a gorgeous 2003 Fender® American Telecaster® in excellent condition. This beauty has a transparent blond finish on an Ash body with a one-piece Maple neck/fretboard. The original pickups were switched out for Texas Specials (I don't have the original pickups) and locking Fender® tuners have been installed (the original tuners are included). Weighs 7 lbs. 5 oz. This guitar has been played but has been well looked-after. The frets show a bit of wear, but still have lots of life left in them. Up close and personal the body shows some minor clearcoat scuffs and an impression here and there, but as evidenced by these pictures, these imperfections are really tough to find. This Tele® sounds and plays as good as it looks. Its well set up with a new set of Elixer .10's and a nice low action without any buzzes. Includes a current era Fender® molded hardshell case, unopended case candy packet and the original Fender® tuners.
