An ultra clean example of an early CBS-era Fender® Vibro Champ®. Introduced in 1964 the beefed up student amp with vibrato was a new idea at the time, which became a big success in the years to come. This excellent sounding low-watt amplifier is much more than just a beginner's piece; with a nice shimmer at low level blending into a singing snarl when cranked, the Blackface Vibro-Champ is an excellent choice for recording or lower volume stage use.Height is 14 in. (35.6 cm.), 17 in. (43.2 cm.) width, and 7 3/8 in. (18.7 cm.) deep. Very clean tolex and faceplate; original speaker, period tubes, a few changed coupling caps and some discoloration of the knobs. Overall a superb looking and excellent sounding amp. Excellent Condition.
