1967 Fender Vibrolux Reverb
guitar amplifier with the original footswitch. This particular example was bought from the Las Vegas Guitar Center and has spent the majority of it's life in a studio, and has been meticulously taken care of. This near mint (9+) example is cosmetically 100% original. Although the electrolytic caps, some board caps and a couple resistors were restored in the last 15 years, this Vibrolux retains most of it's original components that matter (Transformers, speakers etc). The tolex and grill cloth are pristine with no evidence of damage, discoloration, modification, etc.
Tube Chart Date Stamp: QD
Transformer Codes: 606621, -606-6-34, --606639, -606-7-15
Speaker Date Codes: 465-704
Baffle and Cabinet Number: 135 (blue)
The black vinyl tolex exterior is in perfect condition. The silver/black stripe grill cloth retains perfect structural integrity along with no visible fading. The control panel is also crisp and clean with some few small blemishes. All of the hardware is in very nice condition, the chassis is quite clean, with no evidence of damage, let alone signs of oxidation, or indications of leaky/exploded capacitors.
Since the bias of the 6V6 and 6L6 are extremely similar, they have both been used on this amp in different settings. A set of 6V6 and 6L6 Groove tubes are included.
Interestingly enough, this particular example features the "FOR EXPORT ONLY" tube chart. It's obviously a mistake considering it does not have a variable transformer, a transformer that can handle 220v, or a chassis that can fit a variable transformer switch.
This example is in near mint cosmetic condition and perfect working condition, and includes the original footswitch.
