1964 Gibson J-160E

Great player, great sounding J-160E. Nails the Beatles tone perfectly (and it should). Serial number suggests 1965 but it must be an early one because it's got a full 1 11/16" nut and a typical medium chunky 64 neck. It is checked very heavily everywhere but there are no cracks or repairs. The bridge pins aren't original but everything else is. Wear is moderate but mostly, it's the checking that...

1944 Martin 00-18

Remarkably original and untouched. Nothing like a neck reset ever needed nor done, and thankfully so; a mild trimming of the saddle (original and never removed from the bridge) and a replaced nut, all appearing to be Martin factory work from about forty years ago, is all. Action nice and mid-range, extremely comfortable. Not a crack or any kind of repair anywhere, just beautiful overall...

1931 National Duolian

About the neatest one of these we've seen, ever, and the cleanest too. Looks like it was barely ever played; smooth, practically unmarked "crystal" finish in beautiful gray-green; original frets with literally zero wear; original cone, tuners, tailpiece, and everything else. Nice straight neck too, never needed any work of any kind at all, a minor miracle right there. Sounds like the early 1930s...

1939 Gibson J-35

The Gibson J-35 featured a spruce top with mahogany for the back, sides and neck, and rosewood for the fingerboard and bridge. Originally, the available finish was sunburst, as this hides many visual flaws in otherwise good-sounding and usable wood, which in turn lowers costs and price.
