Description

Vintage Gear America is excited and honored to offer this rare opportunity to invest in an iconic piece of guitar manufacturing history. For sale for the first time since offered as part of a collection in the 1990’s, is George Fullerton’s mint 1991 G & L ASAT Classic serial number G027826. This beautiful black and gold guitar is prominently featured in George Fullerton’s Guitar Legends book; hand picked by George then added to his collection that included some early Fender prototypes and Leo Fender owned instruments. This iconic instrument was purportedly the only guitar on display at Leo Fender's funeral, unfortunately Fullerton’s Guitar Legends attributes this dubious honor to the other black and gold G & L ASAT featured in his book. This ASAT has a vibrato arm system the other did not, there may be a picture somewhere of the displayed guitar. Perfect all original condition this time capsule historic beauty comes with Geoff Fullerton's (his son) George Fullerton Collection signed COA and all written documentation, accessories and case. An incredible find and unbelievable investment, perfect for a museum or serious collection, a fine instrument handpicked by Leo’s best friend the one and only George Fullerton. Guitar Legends book not included but available on Amazon. Only $3500. Thank you, VGA
