  • Description: This vintage 1921 Gibson A Junior Mandolin is in Very Good condition, especially for its age. All original, this oval-hole mando sounds incredible. It has a full, rich tone and a particularly powerful low end with extremely resonant G® and D strings. Finished with a dark brown stain, it does have significant playwear, and a large finish abrasion on the front. It's missing the tailpiece cover, and has a very minor back seam separation which is not open (see photos). Original pickguard and bridge; both have added holes possibly for a previous pickup install. A vintage beauty, this 1921 Gibson A Junior Mandolin remains a great player, and comes with its original hard case. Serial #68886.
