1990 Gibson Prototype AJ by Ren Ferguson!
Here's a bit of a historical piece right here. This was built exclusively by Ren Ferguson for Gibson to reissue the Advanced Jumbo. This is officially the Prototype A and hand-labeled as Prototype #2 by Ren. The top is signed by Ren and also labeled "#2 Prototype Advanced Jumbo Built 1/8/90 for Gibson". This was a very successful model for Gibson and they were based on these early prototypes by Ren Ferguson.
The guitar is in very good condition with the usual deep finish checks from this era. The finish from this era was fullerplast so they tend to check more. The guitar sounds absolutely fantastic, truly a great Gibson acoustic by one of Gibson's greatest luthiers. Comes with a Gibson hardshell case.
