Les Paul Studios are basically Les Paul Standards without neck and body binding. Carved maple top on a mahogany body, rosewood fretboard on a mahogany neck.
The humbuckers are ceramic [current Standards use alnico humbuckers].
The dark transparent green finish is quite unique in a subtle way and goes well with the gold hardware.
