  • Description: Before the Gibson Custom Shop, there was the Gibson Citation. A high-end guitar built uniquely to your own personal preference. This one displays an INCREDIBLE example of quilted Maple, very colorful abalone inlay, and "The Gibson" on both the front and back of the headstock. We've included plenty of photos to show you the AMAZING detail and quality exhibited in this Citation from the 1984. It's in EXCELLENT condition, but does have some blemishes that are so minor they are difficult to see in the photos; some slight discoloration in some of the binding, the finish shows marks left from a guitar stand on the bottom of the headstock and bottom edge of the body, as well as a couple very minor nicks + dings. These are all merely cosmeitc as it remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. On the reverse side of the truss rod cover is the engraved name "David Speake" who originally ordered this Citation. Included is a non-original hardshell case.
