1999 Historic Collection 1959 Les Paul Aged 40th Anniversary
This is a 1999 "1959 Les Paul Reissue Aged" model made to commemorate the 40th anniversary of 1959.
It is a highly regarded model as the first year of the Aged model, and is in perfect condition, with no missing accessories, etc. It is also a perfect collector's item.
The top has a solid feel with a three-dimensional grain that changes its expression depending on the angle and flecks, and Tom Murphy's aged treatment beautifully reproduces the weather checks and discoloration over time, giving it an outstanding look reminding us of vintage guitars.
Equipped with two original 57 Classic pickups.
The bridge wires have been removed.
There is some rust on the metal parts, but it is still in good condition considering its age with minimal signs of use.
The remaining frets are about 80~90%, and there are no problems with the neck and truss rod.
