2017 Limited Run 1959 Les Paul Standard Murphy Paint Aged Masterpiece
This is the "Les Paul Standard Figured Top Murphy Painted & Aged A Murphy Masterpiece", produced in a limited edition of only 120 pieces worldwide.
The top wood was selected, hand painted and aged by Tom Murphy, and the rest of the process was fully supervised by him.
It has a superb flame maple top matching the name “Masterpiece”, with black rosewood on the fingerboard, and the original burst arch top that impressed Tom Murphy when he saw it, reproduced with the same double-carving technique as True Historic.
The ABR-1 bridge has been aged to replicate the rounded and rusted tips of the saddle, and the jack plate is a cream-plated metal jack plate.
The serial number is also exclusive to this series and there is a signature and year stamp in the back cavity.
The pickups are equipped with custombuckers.
The guitar is in excellent condition, with little signs of use and almost no fret wear.
It comes with an aged hard case.
