The Gibson Inspired by series guitars, The Roy Orbison Inspired by early 80's 335, First run of only 70 made,this guitar is one of the first 10 of those,low number,desirable,as new,with all factory case,tags included. Gibson Custom Shop derived its specifications from the examination of two same-period ES-335s that Orbison used and consultations with his wife, Barbara.Plain maple top, back, and rims- Nickel hardware- RBR-1 bridge, TP-6 tailpiece- Antiqued Ebony finish - Engraved signature on truss rod cover- Full color Roy Orbison "stamp" on back of headstock. Neck & Headstock: - 1-piece mahogany neck with long neck tenon- 1959 round neck profile- 24 3/4” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width- 22 fret rosewood fingerboard- Pearloid dot inlays - Single-ply cream binding- Holly headstock veneer with vintage tulip tuners Electronics & Strings: - '57 Classic pickups- 2 volume, 2 tone, 3-way selector switch
