2020 Japan Limited 1954 Les Paul Reissue 2 Humbucker VOS Oxblood
This is a refinished version of the 1954 gold top Les Paul that Jeff Beck mainly used from right after the formation of Bogart & Apis until around the time of the "Blow by Blow" album. The "Oxblood" is a 1954 gold-top Les Paul with a refinished humbucker. This model is a faithful reproduction of the "Oxblood" model. The name "Ox Blood" means "cow's blood" and is derived from the coloring of the body. The model is thoroughly detailed with Schaller rotomatic pegs, one-ply black adjustable cover, toggle plate without logo, speed knob, pickguard, thicker neck grip, and rear pickup mounted extremely close to the bridge. This is a one-of-a-kind Les Paul and a must-see for fans. This model has attracted a lot of attention. Mr. Matsumoto himself confirmed the playability of the bar bridge and praised the model, saying, "The tuning is very stable.
