Gibson Custom Shop 2023 Japan Limited Run 1954 Les Paul Standard Wraparound 2-Humbucker All Ebony VOS
This is a special edition "1954 Les Paul Standard Wraparound 2-Humbucker VOS" model produced as a limited edition in Japan.
It is based on the '54 model with the wraparound bridge and Lower Logo on the headstock, but the body back and the back of the neck are all ebony black finish, and equipped with open black humbucker pickups. This is a limited edition model with specs not normally found on other Les Paul models.
The all-hide gluing and parts are carried over from the True Historic model, and vintage taper pots and bumblebee type oil capacitors are used.
The neck is "50s Rounded Medium C", which is rounder and thicker than the '59, with medium jumbo frets and un-potted Custombucker pickups. (The pickup covers are also included)
There is a rather large dent on the back edge near the jack, but there are no other noticeable scratches.
There is almost no fret wear, and there are no problems with the neck or truss rod.
