Finished in Faded Cherry with the VOS aging treatment that makes the guitar look exactly like a vintage original instrument that's been treated with loving care for its whole life. With its ultra-thin, double-cutaway body, the SG was lighter than the Les Paul and allowed freer access to the upper register, both features that rockers immediately appreciated. This reissue guitar weighs 6 lbs 4.5 oz. It's super light and super resonate! The thickness of the neck measures .84 at the first fret and .93 at the 12th.
