This exquisite VOS replica of the Black Crowes’ guitarist Rich Robinson’s “small block” 1963 Es-335 comes out of the Gibson Memphis factory. In fact this one is #1 out of a run of 500, making it an undeniably special piece! It sports an authentically aged cherry finish with beautifully aged chrome hardware, including a Bigsby B-7 vibrato system and an old school “Custom Made” plate beneath the bridge that covers the stop-bar stud holes. Dual Burstbucker pickups (a Burstbucker 1 at the neck and a 2 for the bridge) really nail that 1960s PAF humbucker tone. The neck is a little wider at the nylon nut, measuring 1.711”. It is made of mahogany with a maple spline and a 12” radius hand-selected Dark rosewood finger board with cellulose block inlays. It is in fantastic shape with no noticeable wear other than the factory VOS. This is an excellent Es-335 that is all the more special due to being the first off the line from Gibson! Whether you are a Black Crowes fanatic or just a lover of a well-made Es-335, you will fall in love with this baby! Includes original case and Certificate of Authenticity
