  • Description: What a beautiful 1969 Gibson Dove. This guitar sports a natural (not the typical sunburst) spruce top with cherry stained nicely flamed maple sides and back. It of course, features the exquisite marquetry dividing the 2-piece back and also has the typical 3 piece neck, rosewood finger board with dual parallelogram inlays, and Grover tuners. It has the pearl Dove inlay on the pick guard as well as the pearl inlaid rosewood bridge with adjustable saddle. This guitar is all original and ships with its original hard-shell case. The original case handle is no longer with us and has been replaced. All the parts, frets, tuners, plastic, etc. are original. There have been no modifications, such as pickup installations or refinishing. This guitar has plenty of fret life left, plays great, and has that BIG BEAUTIFUL GIBSON SOUND. The truss rod works perfectly, as Gibson intended. The guitar has been played (one woman owner) and has some scratches.Gibson hang tag included.
