Description

We love the look of the black P-90 cover so much more than later metal versions it hurts. The contours of the body, the larger wider neck, the cherry stain over Honduras mahogany all of that changes with later production. Gibsons' EB-O, the strange crossover SG bass with inlayed mother of pearl Gibson logo and a crowned peg-head, dots for neck inlays, an interesting model. We are pleased to offer this fine all original example of Gibsons' EB-O model bass at a very affordable price and have assessed its condition as all-original almost near mint. Half jokingly “almost near mint” because of one area on the back of buckle wear on an otherwise almost perfect instrument. Perfectly straight neck with a working truss rod. Electronics and all parts are original and working, all factory solder joints. No modifications or repairs, an all-original no issue electric bass guitar by Gibson at the pinnacle of production. We highly recommended buying instruments in this realm of quality, as the investment yield is always greater when buying rare models in perfect condition. There is no better place to put your money than in this fine piece. This lovely vintage 1961 Gibson EB-O electric bass guitar all original almost near mint serial number 28573 with a nice newer Gibson hard shell case.
