  • Description: Here we have a transitional version of the classic Gibson EB-O bass. The slotted headstock, no "Made in USA" and lack of volute, are all features of a 1969 model, although the serial number and finish would place it in 1970. The volume pot was changed and the tone pot, which appears to be original, is unreadable. So there you have it. What's really important is that it's light as a feather, sounds as fat as it should be and plays nice. Comes with original Gibson hard case
