1936 Gibson EH-150 Sunburst

Pre-WW II Gibson lap steels are some of the coolest, and at the same time some of the hottest lap steels ever. This 1936 EH-150 is a rare version, having a beautifully figured-maple body and a “Charlie Christian” pickup. HOT HOT HOT! Quite unusual in its construction, the figured-maple back is attached with twelve screws and there are also two height adjustment screws for the pickup right there where you want ‘em It is 100% un-fooled with, 100% all there original, from the Grover “ 98” tuning machines to the steel nut and all the way down to the Bakelite control knobs. And the rosewood fingerboard is even white-bound to match that spectacular pickup. Serial number stamped right into the back, true 1930s style. And it's clean clean clean!
