Seems to be an incredibly popular guitar to have these days, the earlier Gibson ES-125, hard to find a real good one but we’ve got a winner here. This one may in fact be a bit earlier than 1953, sometimes hard to be precise with these, but the bottom line is that this is a terrific example. Its original early P-90 pickup makes it loud as all get-out, and the combination of its unusually comfy neck and recent very pro setup right here in our own shop makes it truly fab all the way. Original tuners with replaced buttons and so much the better for it; pots are later real Gibson ones (so marked on their bottoms), apparently from a Les Paul; original tailpiece and original solid rosewood bridge complete the package. Pickguard long gone, common from that period, though many prefer not to have one at all. Original hard shell case too, with one funky hinge. $2495 w/xohsc
