Description: Deep Body 1966 Gibson ES-125 DC in original Cherry Sunburst. The 125 CD (cutaway double pickup) was made only in very small numbers from 1966 to 1970. Gibson pulled it from the range because it was virtually a 175 but at a lower cost. Indeed it sounds just like a 50s ES-175 with its P-90 pickups. The pick guard's called firestripe tortoiseshell. firestripe tortoise is rare stuff. Now it's got just the right amount of finish checking to give it a true vintage feel. The metal ABR-1 bridge has changed to rosewood bridge. Knobs are changed to 50's style speed knobs. Re-fretted. Other than that it's in all original and beautiful near mint condition. Nice one. Comes with original hard case (the handle has changed and 2 laches doesn't work) For further information, just give us email or call. email preferred tho.
