1957 Gibson ES-225 Sunburst
Vintage 1957 Gibson ES-225 T Hollowbody Electric.
A fantastic playing and clean example purchased from the original owner who used it as a child and then became a professional bassist. It has been very well cared for and maintained over the years and is an all original example with the exception of the G tuner which is a later Gibson tuner and also the tuning buttons which are upgraded tulip heads after the original heads crumbled (common for those tuners from this era). T
The neck is a total baseball bat and feels amazing. It is nice and straight and plays great all the way up and down without buzz or issue.
Original P-90 pickup is super warm and punchy. Has a really strong, woody attack that is great for jazz, blues and early rock and and roll tones.
Excellent condition with signs of normal cosmetic wear. There is some finish checking and other small signs of use but overall it is really in great shape, it's hard to find them this clean these days.
Original pickguard comes with the guitar, it has been removed and is inside the case.
Comes with the original hard shell case,The tolex has mostly come off but the case is original.

We use UPS ground for shipping. We can work out overnight shipping on a case by case basis. Buyer pays all shipping charges.

After 24 hours, no returns. Buyer assumes all shipping charges. If we agree to a return, as in an internet sale, instruments must be returned in the condition they were sent. Shipping costs will be deducted from the return, and buyer will assume these costs. If we accept a return there will also be a 5% re-stocking fee. All merchandise sold is in used - as is condition. All sales final. If there is an exception made on any return over 24 hours, there will be a 15% re-stocking fee to the customer. No returns whatsoever on guitar parts.
