Description

You really, really want a 59 ES-330 but they don't seem to come up that often and when they do, they are really expensive. That's the "59" premium and you don't have to pay it. This was owned by the same player for more than 20 years and he thought it was a 59. I picked it up and I thought it was a 59 but it has a 60 Factory order number, so its a 60. There are no serial numbers on early 330's, so that's what we go by. What makes it so 59ish? Big fat 59 neck measures nearly .89" at the first fret and .97" at the 12th. That's dead on the most 59's and bigger than some. What else says 59? Bumblebee caps-they were supposed to be gone by 60 but this has 'em. Gold bonnet knobs (burst knobs) complete the 59 feature package. This guitar had Grover tuners (no extra holes) but it now has a set of 59 Klusons and adaptor bushings. No other issues. It's in a brown Lifton case that isn't original but it is vintage correct for a 60.
