1959 Gibson ES-335 Sunburst

It has gotten really hard to find 59's. I used to buy two of them every month but now I'm lucky if I find 6 a year.
This one is later 59 with the very popular "transitional" neck profile (.84 and .95"). It has it's original sealed double black PAFs and is all original except for the frets and the tuners. The tuners are repro Klusons but the original 59 Klusons are included. The tips are shrunken but still intact. It is a factory stop tail but had a "floating" Bigsby added later. Filled holes at the end pin and no holes in the top. It had different tuners at some point but there are no additional holes and the shaft holes were doweled properly and re-drilled (which is how it should be done). Case is original brown with pink lining. This is a monster player. Certainly a top twenty and just missing a top ten. Nice figured top too.
