1964 Gibson ES-335 Red, Excellent, Hard, $20,000.00

HOLDThis is an original stop tail 64 in the serial number neighborhood of the Clapton (88 numbers later shipped 2 days later). I won't comment on whether this affects the price but somebody is asking $100K for one a few numbers farther away. This guitar is all original with its unopened patent number pickups. One is missing its sticker which is not unusual. Medium chunky neck. Original frets in very good shape and no player wear of any consequence. A few dings on the back and one in the binding but surely a 9. This looks like a home player not a gigging guitar. Sounds like a 64 should. Killer neck pickup. Case is vintage correct but not original.
