1975 Gibson ES-335 Red, Very Good, Hard, $2,500.00

This ES-335 is from the early to mid 70's. It has been renecked most likely by someone other than Gibson with a long tenon no volute neck probably in the 80's. It is better work than Gibson would have done. The neck has some heft to it but still has a 1 9/16" nut as it did when it left the factory. Pickups are T-tops and the covers have been off but are back on. Tuners are repro Klusons. This would be a good way to get into a vintage 335 without spending too much. Most of the 70's 335's had short tenon necks and they tended to be less stable. Not the case here. This one is constructed as it would have been in the 60's. Hard case.
