HOLDAnother good attempt by Gibson to get the reissues right. Body shape is pretty darn close as is the neck profile for a 61. Nicely built reissue. They still can't get the knobs or the pickup covers right but you can always change those if you want it to look like a real 61. It doesn't quite sound like a real 61 but give it 50 years or so to break in and I think it'll be there. It's not far off. You can't beat these for the money. Neck is fairly slim so the fat neck crowd might want to pass on this one. It is near mint and has all the case candy. No wear anywhere but the pickup covers look to have been removed and resoldered.
