1959 Gibson ES-355 Mono Red, Excellent, Original Hard, $13,500.00

SOLD-the mono 59 355 you've always wanted. Big (and I mean real big) early 59 neck. This one is player that would be a collector piece if not for the "smile" crack in the headstock. Condition would close to a 9.5 if not for the repair. It's was repaired ages ago and is completely stable but it's there and that knocks off many thousands of dollars. PAFs from a different 355 with a splice in the wires. Late 58 harness (bumblebees) is original. No cut in the center block-rare on a 355.
Original factory Grovers, Bigsby, long guard, knobs, truss cover-everything except the pickups and bridge. The bridge is a mid 60's wire ABR-1. Beautiful brown Gibson badged 5 latch case.
